Pasiparupu Urrundai

Pasiparupu Urrundai

Pasiparupu Urundai (also spelled Pasi Paruppu Urundai) is a traditional South Indian sweet made from moong dal (split yellow gram) and jaggery. The roasted dal is ground to a fine texture, mixed with melted jaggery, and shaped into small, round urundais (balls).
This sweet is light, aromatic, and rich in protein — often flavored with cardamom and a touch of ghee for extra fragrance and softness. Pasiparupu Urundai is commonly prepared during festivals, special occasions, or simply as a healthy homemade snack for kids and elders alike.
